East Texas' own Kacey Musgraves has a new album available today: Same Trailer, Different Park. (click here to order on iTunes)
Musgraves, a 2006 graduate of Mineola High School, has had a busy year, during which she played the Ryman in Nashville, toured with superstar country group Little Big Town, and more.
Not only that, Musgraves is nominated for female vocalist of the year in the 48th annual Academy of Country Music Awards. She is also nominated for new female vocalist, and twice for video of the year for "Merry Go 'Round" both as an artist and a producer.
Musgraves is up against another East Texas artist, Miranda Lambert, a Lindale native, for the female vocal artist of the year award. The winners will be named at the ACM Awards on April 7 in Las Vegas.
